DCN Dx has immediate openings for full-time Research Scientists and Senior Scientists to join its R&D team!

Development of point-of-care diagnostic products and management of development projects. Responsible for programs from feasibility through validation and transfer to manufacturing. Collaborates with internal and external groups to research and develop markers, reagents, formulations, and processes. Requires a highly motivated scientist with an outstanding track record and ability to design and conduct robust and efficient experiments to solve difficult technical problems along with standing out as a leader, mentor, and motivator.

The position requires the ability to work accurately, efficiently, and swiftly in a fast-paced lab. The candidate must have a strong desire to bring products to market. BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, or related field and a minimum of 10 years related work experience. Experience with membrane-based immunochromatographic assays is required.

Experience and Education

• BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years applicable work experience
• Immunoassay development experience is preferred

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of experimental design & interpretation
• Laboratory skills, such as protein purification, antibody conjugation, solution preparation, ELISA experience, immunoassay development skills, etc.
• Basic algebraic, statistical, and mathematical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of QSR’s and ISO
