DBS is hiring for positions at our local household and consumer products distribution operation (Edwardsville Consumer Goods)!

YOU MUST HAVE 6 MOS to 1 YR EXPERIENCE ON A STAND UP REACH TRUCK TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION!!

DB Schenker is excited to promote our new pay rate of $20.00 an hr. with $1 shift differential for night shift.

PLUS....we now offer weekend premium differentials of $2.00 hr. for hours worked on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

12 Hour Shifts!!

Currently seeking Night shift 6:00PM-6:00AM ; Rotating shifts work every other weekend

· Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers

· Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination

· Read, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing process

· Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests

· Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight

· Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock

· Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

· This is an entry-level position.

· Good interpersonal skills required.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Generally prefer 1-2 years of experience.

· Warehouse experience preferred.
