Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Essential Functions:
Work with individual participants or group on the following skills: Toileting, reading, reminiscing, letter writing, memory stimulation and miscellaneous life skills.
Conduct various activities for clients including but not limited to: Crafts, games, day trips, food preparation and serving, exercise, music, group activities and miscellaneous interactive activities.
Give and document medicine reminders in compliance with the written policies and procedures.
Assure that participants are active; they should not be unnecessarily idle or isolated from the group.
Greet participants when arriving; assist them to and from van and with outerwear.
Accompany participants to lunch room and order lunch for the following day.
Record daily attendance, participant arrival/departure times and transportation.
Attend training and staff meetings as needed.
Prepare daily snacks per calendar and serve them to participants.
Inventory supplies needed for snacks and activities.
All else as assigned.
Reports To: Senior Center Supervisor
Workday/Week: Monday - Friday Days and Hours vary
Starting Date: TBD
Compensation: $12.55 per hour
