We’re looking for a full-time,Director of Finance for our Day & Zimmerman Munitions team located in Texarkana, TX.

As the Director of Finance, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Responsible for financial statement accuracy and financial controls, compliance with CAS and GAAP, including coordinating input from local and corporate functions.
  • Responsible for compliance with FAR and other government contractor governance. Responsible for Cost Disclosure Statement for Business Unit.
  • Finance owner for SAP ERP system. Strategic resource for how business processes are automated in SAP. Influences the direction for and approves all system enhancements
  • Assists in overall bid and proposal process, including review of all pricing. Directs preparation of timely and accurate cost estimates.
  • Directs organization of financial and accounting information for effective and timely decision-making. Analyzes and recommends process improvements for financial work flows, methods and procedures.
  • Responsible for financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting including variance reporting and key financial metric analysis. Plans for income, cost and cash flow within overall Plant operations plan.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Strong government contracting experience. Knowledge of GAAP, FAR and CAS compliance
  • SAP / ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles as well understanding of company/industry financial reporting requirements - in a Government contractor/manufacturing environment
  • Leadership skills - especially around pricing and proposals, overheads and G&A, manufacturing metrics and measurements of success
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teaming and management skills.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 10 to 15 years related experience; 5 years of Government accounting/contracting required; experience in an ammunition manufacturing setting preferred.
  • CPA, PMI
  • SAP project leadership experience
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $134,880.00 - $202,320.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
