(DEA)’s Salt Lake City, UT office is in need of a Project Surveyor to help us deliver exceptional service to our Utah Region clients and internal team members. DEA is dedicated to utilizing cutting edge technology and this position will allow you to be exposed to many traditional and emerging geospatial tools on a wide variety of exciting projects.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have current Utah PLS or be able to obtain license within a year if out of state
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Capable of self-managing projects and communicating well with clients
• Experience with both public and private clients
• Familiarity with Utah state and county mapping requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience directing field and office crew members in the performance of their duties and mentoring and coaching them to advance within the survey profession
• Strong computer skills with CAD and Land Surveying software, such as: Civil 3D, MicroStation (optional), Leica and Trimble.
• Knowledge of UDOT survey standards
