DEA’s Denver, CO office is searching for an experienced Project Surveyor. The primary focus will be field to finish production of topographic surveys, boundary surveys and right of way plans. Experience in processing GPS static survey data and laser scan data is a plus. DEA is dedicated to a revenue generating survey business line, utilizing cutting edge technology that allows us to be a leader in terrestrial, GPS, 3D laser scanning and hydrographic surveying.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop tactical action plans for project
• Processing and drafting of survey field data
• Performing boundary calculations
• Analysis and input of title commitment and deed data
• Quality control oversight
• Coordinating with other DEA disciplines and clients
• Directing the field and office crewmembers in the performance of their duties and mentoring and coaching them to advance within the survey profession as their individual abilities allow
• Demonstrated ability to maintain existing client relationships through quality deliverables

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience working on survey related projects using Civil 3D or Microstation/InRoads
• LSIT certification
• Capable of managing large project tasks, communicating well with management, clients, and mentoring junior level staff members
• Familiarity with state and county survey regulations and requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado
