Data Intelligence LLC (DI) is in search of a System Administrator for a tactical network in a software development environment at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. 

Must be capable of the following:

• Managing the servers, which typically involve installing and upgrading the servers, as well as solving any kind of problems with the systems.
• Provide the essential software support for the laptops, desktop personal computers, and printers, including the configuration of the hardware devices, testing new software and designing the structure of the network.
• Software Integration testing and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring the system configuration, including the server event log.
• Testing the operating system software, the networking software and the computer hardware.
• Monitoring and developing the procedures for backups of the servers
• Maintain the minimum certification for IA Technical Level II, which may be GSEC, Security , SCNP or SSCP.
• Maintain a Computing Environment certification for the applicable Operating System and Secret Security Clearance. Three Additional years of applicable experience as a System Administrator with appropriate certifications may be substituted for the degree.

Additional experience required:

• Must have 1-2 years of hands on Windows or Unix systems administrator experience within the last 2 years.
• Operational knowledge of Virtual Machine environments and ability to deploy/troubleshoot.
• Technical skills in VMware VCenter (config, install, create)
• Hypervisior ESXi 6.5
• Windows Server 2016
• Experience with Windows server systems administration, database management, general networking knowledge, basic understanding of Microsoft SQL and ability to troubleshoot/analyze data using information from multiple sources are required.
• Experience in writing and performing software test procedures.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience with automated testing applications to include scripting or coding experience - PowerShell preferred.

• SATCOM experience
• Ability to obtain and track satellites
• Familiarity with FDMA/TDMA, MaxView software
• Software development lifecycle and Agile development/test environment

• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree. Preferred degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline. (3 additional years of applicable experience as a System Administrator with appropriate certifications may be substituted for the degree)
• 3 years’ experience as a System Administrator or performing Software System Administrator related activities within the last 10 years; having knowledge of TCP/IP, information security/authorization profiles, or system administration of Unix or Windows networks/systems.
