Data-Core Systems a consulting, services and digital transformation solution provider helping businesses reshape their future with cutting-edge technologies and services, has an immediate opening for a Senior .NET Developer in the Consulting Services Division. Data-Core is looking for a senior-level technologist with broad skills focused on adding value through the delivery of IT solutions; proactive in taking responsibility for tasks ranging from solving a technical issue to consulting with management on potential future projects.

Essential Functions

• Recommend, plan, and execute IT solutions.
• Ensure that the business receives high quality IT services, whether software, reporting, hardware or networking, through facilitation and proactive problem solving.
• Develop level-of-effort estimates for all recommendations, and provide technical support to team members, vendors, consultants and/or other resources to meet objectives.
• Handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize work responsibly.
• Manage a diverse workload and work under time constraints, especially during project development and implementation.
• Liaise between global business units and IT.
• Participate in business process modeling.
• Collaborate and communicate with a variety of personalities and skill sets, and improve the quality of IT processes, services and products. Inform customers and other team members of testing processes and adequately discuss final products with pertinent parties before systems are fully implemented.
• Maintain consistent, high quality, customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services
• Provide technological guidance and recommendations involving modifications or upgrades.
• Identify and implement process improvements and develop associated Standard Operating Procedures documentation.
• Comply with business process controls and department goals through documentation, monitoring and reporting critical activities.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of all core applications and in-house enhancements.
• Act as a catalyst for change to ensure business and IT best practices.
• Responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining innovative and cost-effective business solutions using IT, business and industry trends.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies for potential future application; evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies.
• Perform necessary administrative functions including status reporting, system/requirements documentation as needed.
• Provide 24x7x365 systems support and worldwide regional office support as needed.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to all levels of technical and non-technical owners.
• Ability to travel overnight, including international travel, although limited.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and related work experience. Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years software systems development experience including 5 years of experience in a .NET environment using Microsoft Visual Studio. A proven track record of software/systems development excellence.
• Must have .NET 4.0 or higher and MS SQL Server 2012 or higher experience. Proficient in in SQL and stored procedure/function development.
• Two years’ experience integrating Web Content Management System (CMS) within a .NET framework; experience with Sitecore integration strongly preferred.
• Expertise with programming language, preferably C#, VB.NET, Python.
• Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Web technology experiencing (Web Security, Networking, IIS Manager, IIS Web Logging).
• Experience with Angular Web Application Framework or the Progressive JavaScript Framework Vue.
• Solid experience with Agile project development methodologies.
  • Scrum and Kanban project development methodologies required.
• Knowledge of data collection, storage, and maintenance concepts.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot Website, CMS and related systems.
• Business process knowledge. Demonstrated ability to develop deep knowledge of (and document) complex business processes across different industries and subject matters, and the ability to creatively translate that knowledge into value-added IT solutions.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages a bonus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) is desirable; experience with Personify preferred.
• Experience with financial systems integrations is desirable; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Oracle NetSuite integration preferred.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience.
