DAS Health is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Remote, FL

Under general direction from a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator performs activities related to day-to -day coordination and completion of projects. The Project Coordinator collaborates with Project Managers to ensure all team members and departments have what is needed to meet the deadlines and milestones of a project, set by the Project Manager. The Project Coordinator must be familiar with every aspect of the project, including all short and long-term goals, the entire project calendar, and budgeting details. 

Specific Job Duties Include:

  • Work under a project manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee small parts of the larger project.
  • Collaborate with various members of the project team and the client to develop a time line, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.
  • Utilize spreadsheets to track budgets, dates, and other information.
  • Ensure coordination of departments.
  • Administration, analysis and support of the project; such as scheduling, procurement, preparing presentations, monitoring time lines.
  • Organizing contracts, financial files, reports, and invoices, and performing other administrative duties.
  • Expected to recommend solutions to ensure continuous forward traction of the project(s).
  • Monitor and evaluate project activity and report on progress to a Project Manager.
  • Responsible for tracking project changes and producing an updated project plan to all parties involved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Requires a 4 year degree (BS/BA) in Business, or equivalent degree; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Requires 2 years of experience managing projects, teams or processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is a must
  • Must be personable, communicate well, display patience and have the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in requirements
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple project schedules; able to juggle and prioritize numerous tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of IT/Healthcare IT technologies and terminologies
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable leading web and face-to-face meetings
  • Ability to coordinate own and others actions, manage time and manage resources.
  • Sensitivity to problems; ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
  • Willingness to learn additional skills on the job in order to grow a better understanding of on-boarding clients and implementing new services.
  • Self-Starter and operates under moderate to little supervision
