About the role:

We're a small but industrious marketing team that supports the DAR PRO Solutions brand of our company Darling Ingredients. Reporting to our Director of Marketing, you'll help with research, campaign analysis and monitoring of all marketing campaigns. Your analysis will help us to improve and make strategic decisions on target markets, audience, advertising tactics and more. A big part of this role is segmenting our contacts for email campaigns and digital ads. You'll work closely with all members of the marketing team to come up with engaging campaigns that entice new customers and delight the ones we have.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Research and identify new market opportunities with greatest ROI potential and even conduct secondary research from industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts.
  • Generate reports that analyze competitor and market conditions, including customer demographics, preferences, need and buying habits. Determine brand perception and reputation.
  • Evaluate market penetration and study market trends to determines the potential for sales of our products and services.
  • Utilize Oracle CRM, Eloqua and other tools to create, execute and monitor marketing campaigns.
  • Segment prospect data to generate target audiences for each campaign before handoff to creative.
  • Identify areas of improvement by assisting with monitoring and reporting of KPI's, benchmarks and ROI for paid advertising via Google Ads and Google Analytics, email campaigns, trade shows/events and other marketing initiatives
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships and identify positive financial outcomes to increase profitability.
  • Provide assistance to sales team by compiling and communicating campaign information and preparing and distributing lead data via CRM tool.
  • Assist in design of the research methodology and process for collecting quality data.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database, identifying and resolving issues.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • You are a wiz at creating pivot tables, charts and dashboards and can turn a boring spreadsheet into an automated and visual work of art.
  • You know the nuances of marketing metrics and effortlessly speak the language of each unique platform. However, you can also communicate complex data in an understandable way.
  • Your insights help to tell the campaigns story and set the benchmarks for the next campaigns performance.
  • Since data is the foundation of our marketing efforts, you will be diligent about monitoring and ensuring information is correct.
  • You are a natural problem solver that identifies and resolves issues and strives to improve our processes.
  • You enjoy a team-first environment, sharing ideas, helping, having fun, and doing your part to meet objectives.
  • You'll participate in brainstorming sessions with team to generate creative ideas for social and other marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in market research, business, communications or related field required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills which can be demonstrated by previous work product.
  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and analytical processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation programs, web and other data analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong business insight.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be a confident team player who enjoys collaboration and willing to learn.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently must sit for extended periods.
  • Occasionally walk, bend, balance, or stoop.
  • Regularly required to reach with hands or arms.

Work Environment

  • Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
  • Less than 10% domestic travel.
