Dandy is Hiring a Remote VP of Sales

About the Role

We’re looking to hire our first VP of Sales to help build and scale out a rigorous GTM motion. Together with our CCO and the rest of the executive team, this person will ensure revenue growth through our next stage of hyperscale. They’ll oversee a team of 90 delivering on a multi-channel sales strategy, international expansion, and new product launches.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of our Commercial sales (inside), Field sales and BDR teams ensuring the teams meet their quota, activity and other goals 
  • Ensure execution and alignment across multiple office hubs and remote sellers in the field
  • Recruit best in class teams across the country and retain them with a high-performance sales culture
  • Partner with the CCO, sales ops and other senior executives to develop our GTM strategy, plan our growth and develop roadmaps designed to advance Dandy sales
  • Champion sales enablement and ensure all sales personnel live up to their full potential in our Challenger and MEDDIC-based system 
  • Lead our thinking on how to best position and sell Dandy to our dentist-prospects regardless of channel
  • Craft tailored strategies and tactics for our field, inside and BDR teams to win
  • Document, best practices, operating rhythms and other processes to ensure Dandy can continue to scale efficiently 
  • Become an expert on our sales metrics and maintain a clear opinion on the performance of all teams across the funnel and critical performance ratios 
  • Dive deep into our inbound channels and work with marketing to maximize the potential of every lead and channel
  • Ensure that new business is successfully handed off to post-sales and activated on our platform sharing accountability for long term revenue growth
  • Develop our outstanding sales management team as we scale in hypergrowth and ensure career development 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of scaling sales teams in hypergrowth / start-up environments with limited supporting resources: you’ve actually helped “figure it out”
  • You’ve developed sales management and facilitated career advancement for first line and second line leaders (and beyond)
  • You have a proven track record of building scalable enablement, operating rhythms and other processes to ensure the GTM org scales as efficiently as possible
  • You’ve developed teams capable of going outbound and maximizing inbound across sales cycles that can vary from several days to several months
  • MEDDIC and Challenger: been there and done that. You’re ready to dive in day one and help the team use these sales methodologies to get the most out of your team and drive urgency with your customers
  • Proven capability of designing GTM strategy and capacity plans that deliver results into ambiguous environments
  • You simplify the complex and help your teams see through “the fog” to keep everyone operating effectively
  • You lead from the front and get your hands dirty: you do ride alongs with reps in the field, close costumes yourself and jump in to help BDRs set meetings to build credibility and increase your knowledge
  • You ruthlessly prioritize -- You’ll have a roadmap for yourself set up within your first 30 days
  • You are high EQ -- actively listening, seeking to understand and leveraging an intuitive understand of complex organizations

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience carrying a new business quota including roles selling and / or managing inside and outside sales teams
  • 5 years of selling and sales management experience in successful hypergrowth and / or start up environments
  • Managed an org of at least 75 sellers (preferably 100 ) including BDR teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce with experience leveraging other sales tools like Outreach and Gong
  • Started as an account executive or BDR and worked your way up
  • You’ve seen scale greater than ours (> 500 people)
  • BA / BS or other evidence of continued learning in your career

Bonus Points For

  • Experience selling to SMB buyers and / or in healthcare tech
  • Experience selling products that are industry-defining or lack a strong analog in market
