About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Quality Manager to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company in Lehi, UT. In this role, you will oversee the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards. Duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting production issues and corrective actions.

What You'll Do

• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
• Ensure that products adhere to quality standards
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
• Work according to deadlines for the delivery of products
• Train and manage production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
• Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
• Perform detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
• Eliminate products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems

What We're Looking For 

• Proven experience as a quality manager
• Bachelor’s degree (Technical field preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with quality standards and processes
• Excellent communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
• Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
• Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws/defects and pose solutions to those defects
• Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting production standards

Bonus Points For

• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
• Six Sigma Black Belt
