About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Materials Manager to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company in Lehi, UT. In this role, you’ll oversee the planning and coordination of our location’s inventory and purchasing departments and will help create operating and performance plans. Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude are qualities that will facilitate success in this role.

What You'll Do

• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
• Collaborates with management to create and manage forecasting models
• Establishes procedures and supervises cycle counts and the annual physical inventory (if required)
• Supervise, evaluate and coach staff members
• Interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet demand
• Maintain relationships and negotiates with suppliers
• Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
• Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions

What We're Looking For 

• 3 years' experience in logistics role or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering or related field
• Ability to lead team members
• Customer service-oriented
• Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems
• Ability to solve problems swiftly
• Working knowledge of SAP, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes

Bonus Points For

• Ability to build and analyze SQL queries for performance improvements
• Ability to use database analytical tools to assess performance and generate reports
