Dallas 1 Construction & Development is Hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Near Thonotosassa, FL
Description
To process invoices received via email, mail or fax into the Sage accounting system in a timely manner, and then to route those invoices for approval so that they can be posted and paid in a timely manner.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process invoices received in the office.
- Route invoices to the proper personnel for authorization and approval.
- Setup and post those invoices for payment making sure to take all discounts when offered.
- Review account statements received from vendors to make sure no invoices are missing.
- Answer phone calls and emails from vendors when inquiries are made regarding payments.
Requirements
- Basic math skills.
- Good phone etiquette.
- Attention to detail so invoices are properly posted.
- Ability to enter large quantity of invoices monthly.
- Ability to work well under pressure with time deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to enter invoices into accounting software.
- Good people skills to deal with vendors, and in house personnel for authorization of invoices.
