Dakota Fluid Power is Hiring a Fabricator Near Lake City, MN

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of a Fabrication Technician is to work as part of a team by providing exceptional skills in custom design & fabrication for meeting both external and internal customer expectations.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Fluent in all aspects of metal fabrication.
  • Welding capabilities, utilizing but not limited to MIG, TIG & Stick welding, cutting, forming, shearing, drilling, tapping, etc.
  • Reading and understanding basic shop drawings and blueprints to complete projects to customer specifications.
  • Ability to meet and exceed ASI quality standards, as defined, for all manufactured products.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of Reading & Understanding Shop Drawings and Blueprints; Understand both Welding and Basic Machining Principles and Practices; Highly Motivated Self-starter; Excellent Problem Solving Skills; Detail Oriented; Excellent Planning and Organizational Skills; Good Communication Skills (Written & Verbal). Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on occasion.
