Daily Harvest is looking for a Director, Product Design to join our Digital Product team. The Digital Product team develops experiences and tools that delight our customers and fuel growth. We work in cross-functional "squads" to bring our mission, brand, and values to life online.
Director, Product Design is an inspirational, strategic innovator and leader who leverages our brand and mission to identify and develop compelling omnipresent customer experience that creates emotional connections with our community. This leader is responsible for defining, creating, and executing easy, fun and rewarding customer journeys.
In this role, you will lead our Product Design team. You are a strategic thinker, strong and inspirational team leader, and cross-collaborator with your partnering teams. You understand how to bring the absolute best out of every one of the designers in a way that respects those differences. You should be a strategic thinker with a genuine desire to keep up with the latest visual design trends, prototyping tools, and design frameworks. You are curious and want to understand our customers on a deep level, finding solutions to complex interactions, user experience, and design problems. Working closely with the product and engineering functions, you’ll enhance the customer-driven mindset across the company to elevate our level of product design and achieve our larger company goals.
The ideal candidate is a strong and inspirational leader with an aptitude for team building and developing, with a people-first mindset - someone who can set a clear vision, build bridges, connect dots, foster trust, and gain consensus. This person knows how to scale, has a natural affinity for putting systems and processes into place, and can ensure that our teams are working efficiently and effectively together.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $205,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
