The Opportunity

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Data Collector 2 position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Data Collector is responsible for collecting primary, secondary, quantitative and qualitative data through recorded data, statistical surveys and sampling. Also expected to extract relevant and pertinent data, and collect data from primary resources using company systems and software. About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Responsibilities

May include:

• Collect, organize and maintain company-specific data and reports for production, labor distribution, attendance, efficiency, safety, parts, quality, etc.
• Enter data into appropriate systems/data bases/files
• Track and report NCN (Non-Conformance Notification)
• Review ISO documents and update with ME’s
• LFP data entry daily and update LFP reports, Dashboards, and projects
• Record scrap reports daily, weekly and monthly
• Verify DFP entry into MAPICS
• Create Pivot Charts and tables for data tracking and reporting
• Order and track supplies for department
• Administer recognition programs for department
• Assist supervisors with projects as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills:

• Must be skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and database applications
• Attention to detail – high level of accuracy
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player, results orientated, dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.
• Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business processes and procedures
• Ability to apply good judgement and strong work ethics and integrity on the job
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.
• Responsible for safe work practices

Experience:

• 2 plus years

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. May have higher noise volume in areas – hearing protection required.
