We are growing and in need of Sales Representative for our VSS International, Inc. faciltiy in Chandler, AZ.

The ideal candidate will be a natural at building relationships, have impeccable organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines and understand the business. Prepare & submit bids (alone and as part of a team) for various pavement maintenance projects, including but not limited to processes such as slurry seal, micro surfacing, paving, chip seal, etc. Must have the ability to manage multiple requests with short deadlines. Responsiveness is a must have. Must be personable, and willing to meet with potential customers and close agreements for construction work throughout Arizona and Southwest Region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

* Coordinate transition of schedule and budget to project management team upon project award.

* Review bid specifications, determine scope of work, create estimate and proposals to customers

* Assist project management team with managing projects, assessing projects, and price change orders on existing projects.

* Develop detailed project cost estimates on proposed projects consisting of project site visit, take offs, derive pricing and production rates; solicit subcontractors and suppliers for pricing, interact with potential clients, and presentation of the estimate for review.

* Job cost current and ongoing construction projects.

* Create, develop, and modify excel spread sheets

* Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.

* Function under fast pace stressful working conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Prefer individual with minimum of 3 years of sales and estimating experience in the asphalt pavement or pavement maintenance industry.

* Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, or related degree, is preferred but not required.

* Must be proficient in Word and Excel

* Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal to interact with internal and external drivers and customers.

* Proven leadership qualities.

* Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills and communications skills. .

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

* Prior outside sales experience is required.
