D&W is currently looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative to cover our territories in Monroe County. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess proven success in sales by professionally promoting, selling, and supporting assigned D&W product lines.
Job Responsibilities:
· Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts
· Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs
· Plan and organize sales strategies
· Expedite the resolution of customer problems, issues and complaints
· Interact with key decision makers on a regular basis, know their needs
· Advise and assist customers in areas including inventory, service availability, new products and services
· Take orders from customers, provide literature and guidance as needed
· Achieve sales and performance goals
· Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner
Requirements
· Prior experience in the truck, automotive or parts industry is preferred, diesel knowledge is a plus
· Knowledge of selling techniques, must be able to speak the customer’s language
· Strong time management skills
· Ability to travel within an assigned territory
· This position requires a valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
