D-H Medical Center is Hiring a Storekeeper Near Lebanon, NH
Responsibilities
- Performs inventory and orders chemicals, paper products, produce, beverages, food items, and nutritional supplements.
- Calculates inventory need utilizing system software and transmits orders for items listed above via fax, internet, or phone.
- Receives all food and non-food products coming into Food and Nutrition Services. Checks invoices for proper quality and quantity. Performs data entry to identify products ordered, received and issued.
- Sends back damaged products and generates credits according to established procedures.
- Communicates with Manager regarding shortages, availability and quality of products received.
- Dates and rotates products received.
- Fills all departmental supply requisitions. Communicates with appropriate area staff concerning supply issues.
- Maintains storeroom, walk-in refrigerator, and freezer.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduate with 2 years in food supply procurement and specifications.
- Good organizational and communication skills desired.
- Basic computer skills helpful.
