Responsibilities – Collision Painter:
Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application
Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace
Qualifications/Requirements – Collision Painter:
Two years of experience in a dealership position
ASE/I-CAR/Sherwin Williams certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Position requires stooping, bending and moving throughout the area
May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
