What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at D`Boat Haus?
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Head Chef to oversee our culinary team. A successful candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in the food service industry, a strong understanding of modern cooking techniques, and the ability to work well with others. Our Head Chef must be able to develop innovative recipes that our kitchen team consistently executes well, and be able to adapt recipes to fit our seasonal ingredients. Finally, the ideal applicant is someone who is eager to learn new skills and always takes initiative when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and supervise a team of cooks.
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to workers.
- Plan menus.
- Oversee the menu planning and purchasing of supplies used in cooking.
- Supervise the preparation of food.
- Train workers to develop skills used in different kitchen tasks.
- Ensure that the kitchen follows all rules and regulations set by the health department.
- Oversee sanitation in the kitchen.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
