Performs a wide variety of administrative functions to assist Senior Interior Designer and others Interior Designers, including duties relating to coordination, communications, and document.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Additional background in sales or customer service preferred.
2. Good working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office programs, 2020 Design.
3. Good knowledgeable of furnishings, materials, finishes, and detailing.
4. Confident in selecting and developing interior finishes, specifications packages, color palettes, and finish boards for clients.
5. Comfortable with both presentations and technical conversations with clients, design staff, ownership, vendors, and consultants.
6. High level of creativity and attention to detail.
7. Experience in designing quality projects, both new construction and renovations.
8. Good knowledge of architectural/interior design concepts, practices, and construction documents, detailing, and practices.
9. Excellent presentation skills including the ability to quickly hand sketch and render to artistically convey concepts to clients.
10. Able to provide value solutions based on client’s budgets.
11. Experience in sourcing, bidding, pricing, cost analysis, purchasing and procurement, order follow-up, scheduling, and installation.
12. Good math skills sufficient to calculate accurate price quotes, discounts, commissions, percentages, and areas.
13. Able to function in conjunction with other professionals in a team environment in order to create the highest quality work.
14. Greets and assists clients on the sales floor and by telephone in regard to their interior decor & design needs.
15. Able to work Saturdays.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing; personable and outgoing in work relationships, both externally and internally; punctual and reliable, efficient and self-organized, perceptive, innovative, enthusiastic to learn, and takes initiative.
