Czinger Vehicles Inc. is a subsidiary of Divergent and is based in Los Angeles, California. Divergent is on a mission to democratize the design and manufacture of vehicles and has invented a manufacturing system that combines software, additive manufacturing, and assembly technologies to radically reduce the material, energy, time and capital required to design and build vehicles. The Czinger 21C is the first whole vehicle demonstration of that technology; a revolutionary hypercar built for the 21st century. This includes what will be the world’s most power dense production engine at the heart of it’s, state of the art, hybrid powertrain. A twin turbo 2.88 litre V8 combines with twin electric motors on the front axle, that are powered by cells that are currently used in the latest F1 hybrid systems, to deliver in excess of 1250bhp and breathtaking performance. Complete running vehicles have been designed and built and have undergone extensive on and off-track testing and development.Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:·Developing and implementing divisional accounting procedures, ensuring compliance and internal controls with company policies.·Financial reporting, performance analysis, budget/forecast development, regular monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.·Assist in scaling the accounting operations to meet the growing financial and accounting needs of the company.·Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close financial reporting processes for Czinger Vehicles, reporting up to the parent company Controller.·Analyzes the operating performance by preparing financial plans, monitoring expenditures and performance against plan, performing analysis of variances, and helping establish action plans to meet financial performance objectives. ·Proactively identifies and drives process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency of accounting functions.·Performs project-level reconciliations to evaluate progress to complete versus cash position.·Prepares and reconciles intercompany transactions in accordance with intercompany agreements.·Implements the most appropriate financial and accounting practices per US GAAP.·Primarily responsible for annual financial audit and the subsidiary level.·Works closely with outside auditors to provide necessary financial information to complete audits on a timely basis.·Supports federal and state tax filings and other financial compliance.·Implements key internal controls in accordance with company policies.·Interacts cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and engineering departments to proactively resolve any accounting or finance issues. ·Long term, building a team of 1-2 direct reports. Work Environment:Track and office Education:BS in Accounting/Finance requiresCPA strongly preferred Licenses/Certificates: Experience/Skills:·5-7 years of accounting experience and a solid grasp of manufacturing accounting are required.·3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.·5 years of ERP experience required, including experience with Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or a similar ERP system.·Prior supervisory or management experience is required.Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus.·Outstanding leadership and organizational skills·Excellent communication skills·Excellent problem-solving ability·The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and has experience in managing a staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. ·They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. Czinger Vehicles Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
