We are looking for an experienced Medicaid Specialist/Business Office Assistant to join our team! This role will assist the Business Office Manager and will assist in the filing of Medicaid applications.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Assists the Business Office Manager with completion of billing process consistent with company policies, procedures and standards
• Assists with analyzing financial verification for the Medicaid applications to identify eligibility for Medicaid.
• Works with local Medicaid office to ensure data is received in a timely manner
• Assists with business office functions in records, accounting, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, inventory and supply management
• Assists with billing functions, including accurate invoicing of all client services. Ensures reimbursement from governmental payers, insurance companies, clients or client representatives in compliance with company standards
• Assists Business Office manager with maintaining all required and appropriate logs
• Understands and adheres to the guidelines of Resident Rights

Salary based on experience. MUST HAVE NURSING HOME EXPERIENCE WORKING IN BUSINESS OFFICE.
