Customer Value Partners is Hiring a Statistician Near Washington, DC

Overview

CVP is seeking a Statistician with experience working with federal clients as a delivery leader to implement high-visibility initiatives. Strong demonstrated experience with econometric modelling and statistical analyses will equip the individual for success in the role.

The Statistician will work with the CVP Team and federal human capital clients to conduct supply/demand and gap analysis with Human Capital data to provide key insights. Additionally, they will possess the ability to produce technical reports and available data to answer business questions using quantitative techniques with programming languages such as R, SQL and/or Python. The Statistician will work with partner firms to ensure that the capabilities of partners are effectively integrated into project delivery and that all partners and subcontractors deliver quality work products to meet contract objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Statistician experiences with supply/demand and gap analysis. Experience in explaining phenomena and complex economic concepts.
  • Experience in econometric modeling and statistical analyses
  • Knowledge of Federal Government hiring and employment processes and regulations
  • Must be able to use data manipulation tools such as R, SQL, and/or Python
  • Build scalable analytic solutions using large, interconnected datasets
  • Experience articulating business questions and using quantitative techniques to arrive at a solution using available data
  • Ability to translate technical subjects and data into laymen terms for multiple stakeholders and information consumers

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in a economics or math related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency with tools such as R, SQL, and/or Python
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong customer relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • DHS or other Federal Human Capital experience
  • Management consulting background or experience
