Custer State Park Resorts is Hiring a Prep Cook Near Custer, SD

HOUSING SPNSORSHIP : TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT :$17/HR STARTING WAGE 

A cook in our kitchen will have the basic knowledge/ability to:

  • handle knives
  • use kitchen equipment, like slicers, broilers, grills, ovens, etc.
  • be on their feet for up to 8 hours at a time
  • communicate effectively
  • keep their space organized and clean
  • work independently and as a team

This is a face-paced, ever-changing job where you'll be working side by side with other cooks who put their passion into their work and enjoy putting out high quality, delicious food to every guest.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer candidates available mid April – Nov 1st. 2023 Work commitment times can be negotiated. Seeking line cook with at least one year previous kitchen line experience. Must be able to work sautee, grill or broil station with moderate volume. Need ability to be self-directed and to accomplish assigned tasks. Must have some knowledge of food safety practices. Need good team skills, high energy and quality food orientation.
