Director of Product Marketing

Location: Remote with Eastern Time zone hours

Marketing at CureMint

Marketing communicates the CureMint story, determines the position and messaging, and translates our products and their features into tangible customer benefits. Marketing is responsible for the acquisition of new customers and being the eyes and ears of the market with expertise in cutting through the noise to make impactful connections between our product and customers. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner closely with product, sales, customer success, and design.

What you’ll do

You will lead CureMint’s product portfolio to market, communicating and delivering value to both potential and existing customers while driving growth for CureMint. You will establish the way we communicate with our customers and prospects through positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to make us a trusted authority and partner. We’re seeking a smart, ambitious, self-starter and leader who can balance strategic thinking, creative ideation, and customer empathy, with execution and team building. They have a strong understanding of a B2B buyer journey and are familiar with examples of inventive consumer/B2C marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Own product marketing for CureMint. This includes oversight into how we build, message, and market core products for the financial and operational professionals within the dental industry.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution. Proactively get involved early in product development and develop creative ideas, pricing and packaging, and the GTM strategies to take products and features to market, acquire customers, and drive and grow adoption, engagement, and loyalty over time. Interface confidently between product, sales, engineering, customer success, support, and finance and build strong relationships with each. 
  • Develop messaging and positioning. Informed by market and customer research, sales and support feedback, and product understanding, determine how to position and message products and features in a compelling, emotionally resonant way. Create personas and ideal customer profiles, and communicate CureMint’s value through storytelling.
  • Build campaigns that drive revenue. Imagine creative, omnichannel marketing campaigns that generate awareness, revenue, and adoption, and rigorously measure the results to relentlessly optimize them. Lead the cross-functional team to execute.
  • Research competitors and enable the growth machine. Conduct ongoing research and lead competitive intelligence programs to provide a detailed understanding of key competitors’ strategies, offerings, GTM activities, and performance in order to inform product development and equip Sales to effectively communicate its value over competitors. 
  • Embrace ambiguity and change. Thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment, challenge the status quo to drive constant improvement.
  • Be a player/coach for a small team. Train, mentor and establish the product marketing function within CureMint.

Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS degree
  • 5 years of experience in a product marketing, transferable marketing, and/or product management role preferably building a B2B billing, payments or fintech product
  • 1 years managing a team (people management)
  • Big-picture thinker with strong business discernment and high degree of creativity in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities 
  • Excellent written communicator and storyteller with the ability to understand the audience and distill key messages in order to effectively inform and persuade 
  • Strong analytical skills to track, analyze, and incorporate data-driven insights to report on and optimize campaigns
  • Ability to lead and collaborate on cross-functional projects and multitask with excellent organizational skills
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm and ambition—you dream big and are eager to make an impact at CureMint and the market we serve
  • Intense attention to detail and organizational skills with tremendous written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working cross-functionally while influencing without official authority
