Position Summary:
If you are a high energy, outgoing person who excels at collaborating and building strong business relationships with vendors and peers, this job is for you. As a Business Support Analyst, you will work under the direction of the Director of Petroleum Tax on petroleum related issues. This is an entry level position in the department and a successful candidate will have the ability to learn and adapt quickly and collaborate with others easily.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Research and respond to internal and external audit inquiries
2. Work with vendors to compile support for monthly tax filings
3. Collaborate with contractors and external vendors to resolve tax issues
4. Fulfill vendor requests for tax compliance documents
5. Maintain customer tax compliance documentation
6. Assist with the preparation of tax refund claims
Working Relationships: Company personnel and various vendors.
Minimum Education: High School or GED
Preferred Education: BS in Business
Minimum Experience: In lieu of BS degree, experience working with vendors or customers
Preferred Experience: 1 – 3 yrs working with compliance areas
Soft Skills:
Scheduling: Monday – Friday during normal business hours
Travel: None
Hours & Conditions: 40 hours Physical Requirements Lifting up to 15 pounds
