RESPONSIBILITIES: The Digital Media Specialist is an artist: a skilled videographer, graphic designer, and photographer who creates impressive and moving content for a wide range of purposes within the Advancement department and in support of other departments at Culver. Being the primary content creator, the Digital Media Specialist will steward an efficient and effective Digital Asset Management process for the Marketing and Communications team. In addition, we ask you to contribute to the mission by serving students in additional commitments to realize our promise of a whole-person education. This includes a commitment to students outside of the classroom in an area, such as academics, athletics, or spiritual life, along with supporting student and campus life activities.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Cinematic Arts, or Design, or a combination of education and work experience in a related field. Five years in a role with video and design responsibilities.Proven ability to promote creative ideas.Strong project management skills. Proven attention to detail and follow-up. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer Skills: MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign) Final Cut Pro, AVID Media Composer, or comparable video/photo editing software.
