Cuisiniers Catered Cuisine & Events is looking for a dynamic individual to join our catering team in the role of Wedding Specialist. This talented individual will be responsible for wedding sales and execution, and to ensure smooth operation of the events. In addition, this candidate will provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for our clients and team members. This potential candidate LOVES food, cares about people, values teamwork and delivers results. This is a Salary PLUS COMMISSION Position

Responsibilities Include:

Selling, Planning, directing and executing wedding events

Modifying and creating new seasonal themes that meet quality standards

Assist in day of coordination of weddings

Perform administrative duties to include proposals, contacts and timelines

Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with guests and team members

Produce proposals that are creative, fresh, unique & delicious

Work directly with the GM to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment

Requirements and Skills:

Minimum Three to Five years Catering sales experience

A passion for Entertaining, Wine and food pairing

Degree in Hospitality/Culinary Management preferred; Certified in Food Handling

Banquet Management Experience

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

Capable of delegating multiple tasks.

Communication and leadership skills.

Keeping up with cooking trends and best practices.

A valid State issued Drivers license and access to dependable/consistent transportation .

Experience with assembling and mentoring a service team.

Passion for customer service with a positive attitude.

Able to work well in a team environment and in close working conditions with employees and customers.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong reasoning, judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Creative thinking skills and able to think outside the box to achieve goals.

A desire for continuous learning opportunities.

Able to multi-task and prioritize varying workload.
