Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full time Senior Cost Accountant to be part of our Operations team. The Senior Cost Accountant will be a key member in supporting the operations team in allocating costs to BOMs, budgets and establishing operation variance reporting. The position will help establish material and labor transaction to accurately cost the production process. The Senior Cost Account will assist in establishing departmental budgets for both operations and other departments at Cue. This position will assist in the refining of our ERP implementation Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze periodic manufacturing variances including purchase cost, material usage and overhead variances Evaluate, implement, and improve inventory cycle count programs and activities Prepare accurate, timely financial reports using Excel and enterprise applications that compare and analyze current results with budgeted results and future forecasts Effectively communicate the results of cost analysis performed with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies Create, optimize, and assist with cost and inventory report generation for operations management Work with the site personnel to establish processes to ensure ERP data has the integrity to reflect actual operations activity Work with the site personnel to gather data and explanations to support spend and productivity analysis Support the production of budgets and financial forecasts Compare and reconcile physical labor, components, and costs of project operations against allocated funds. Creating financial reports to track budgetary progress of projects Investigate variance issues, detect sources and establish corrections Provide support on other projects and assigned tasks Additional duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost accounting analysis a plus Inventory analysis, month-end close background is needed Experience in Manufacturing/Distribution preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective organizational skills, and attention to detail Microsoft Office, especially Excel experience Experience with NetSuite and ERP implementation a plus Environment and Physical Activities/Requirements: You will work in an indoor onsite and remote environment for which no adverse conditions are expected.
