Position Summary: This would be a part-time position Tuesday through Thursday with hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. We have two locations, one in the Pavilion Building at Baptist Medical Center Downtown and the second located in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Ellison Vein Institute’s medical assistant is responsible for the “flow” of our clinic. This included bringing patients from the lobby to the exam room, taking vitals, updating medical history and assisting the providers in procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparing electronic charts for the next day
• Rooming patients which includes taking vitals and updating medical history
• Entering medical information into EHR
• Keeping exam rooms stocked with medical supplies
• Assisting with in-office procedures
• Other duties as assigned
