cTrace Solutions, Inc. is Hiring an Infection Preventionist Near Elmhurst, NY

cTrace Solutions is actively recruiting for multiple Registered Nurses for our client in Queens, NY.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Certification in infection control
  • IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) experience required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing infection control surveillance, prevention, and control activities within a healthcare setting to identify and control the spread of infections and communicable diseases
  • Use epidemiological principles to reduce the risk of exposure and prevent transmission
  • Report all in-house patients with communicable diseases to the city/state health department and maintain records
  • Review daily microbiology and virology reports to identify potential healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)
  • Ensure compliance with public health regulations and guidelines

This role requires a strong commitment to public health and the ability to effectively implement and manage infection control programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of epidemiology and infection control practices, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and government agencies.

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
