CTG is seeking an experiencedhealthcare Technical Project Managerto provide project oversight for IT initiatives, including IT needs for new construction, network refresh projects, and other projects as assigned.
Contract Length:18 months, Full time Consulting
Location:After an initial Knowledge Transfer period of 2 to 4 weeks at the client site, work will be performed primarily in a remote model with periodic trips to the client site as needed.
Job responsibilities:
- Work with client stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Create and maintain resource utilization plans to effectively manage project staff assignments
- Prepare budgets, and track project costs to achieve the targeted budget
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards through the execution of the project
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to achieve target completion
- Prepare and maintain project reporting tools, including weekly status reports, RAID logs, etc.
- Report to client leadership team, including C-suite, on project status and risks
Required Skills:
- PMP Certification is required
- In depth knowledge of network set up, modifications, and maintenance in the Healthcare System
- Experience managing IT projects on new construction sites in conjunction with the site project manager
- Proven ability to successfully manage initiatives to completion on time and within budget
