Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Work Hours/Shift: Per diem Requirements: Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred. Licensure: Connecticut State Licensure Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire. You Will Be Responsible For: Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority. Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member. Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided. Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office. Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.
