POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILTIES

• Review customer RFQ’s, plans, and/or specifications to generate parts proposals
• Support CST Service Department by generating parts/service proposals
• Generate internal requests for engineering, design and estimating based on customer requirements
• Review estimates and prepare final parts proposals
• Process sales orders and coordinate with other departments for proper product delivery
• Develop customer relationships with existing and new accounts as directed by the Senior Account Manager
• Regular follow up with customers and reps to build relationships and ensure parts proposals, deliverables and other communications meet our customer’s needs
• Interact with various departments as needed to support parts sales and complete tasks
• At times, perform as the account lead where no salesperson is assigned, or the customers segment warrants direct service
• Generate various conceptual drawings, sketches, and specifications as needed for parts proposals
• Support company’s network of independent sales representatives as needed
• Maintain quoting/product databases as well as Salesforce.com opportunities
• Service customer requests to price repairs, replacements, or begin the process of warranty work
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Account Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Four-year college degree in a technical discipline or 5 years of quoting/estimating in industrial manufacturing environment
• General understanding of Industrial Sales Process
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and understand technical/construction plans and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of construction procedures and processes desirable but not required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications
• Ability to understand and advantageously negotiate contract terms and conditions

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole, fractional and decimal numbers.

REASONING ABILITY

• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.
• Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and AutoCAD desirable but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Walk, must be able to move about inside the manufacturing and office and occasionally on a construction site or outside of the manufacturing facility.
• Use hands/fingers to feel, must be able to operate computers, machinery, dimensional equipment.
• Sit and stand, must be able to work at a stationary desk that may require sitting or standing. Standing on concrete floor and uneven terrain will be required frequently.
• Climb and balance, must climb stairs and ladders.
• Stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl.
• Talk/hear, must be able to communicate with operators and management frequently and exchange accurate information.
• Lift and carry weights of 50lbs.
