Job Description

Information about the Role, Line of Business, and Team:

The Cloud Operations Engineer is an integral member of the Cloud Operations team, providing day-to-day support and expertise to the department. This position supports team members from other departments to ensure consistency and enterprise workflows are followed. This position also assists with regular reporting, monitoring, and follow up of team-assigned tickets. Ensures timely responsiveness to break/fix and other requests for service within Service Level Agreements and target turnaround times.

What you will do:

• Responsible for assisting in planning, building, running, and managing enterprise Cloud Operations including Performance, Availability, Incident, Capacity, Configuration and Change Management processes and tools to support 24x7 availability across many regions
• Responsible for assisting in the development of toolsets that assist teams in deploying their services to the cloud, including improving CI/CD workflows around software development
• Build repeatable infrastructure framework and processes to support multiple engineering teams
• Document current cloud environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation
• Improve operational processes to increase automation and decrease human interaction
• Implement infrastructure with enterprise data security and identity and access management in mind. This will ensure that only authorized people or code can access applications
• Implement Logic Apps and Power Apps that enhance business processes and flows
• Manage the administration of Identity and Access Management accounts including AWS, Azure Active Directory, remote access, etc.
• Manage the administration of our cloud telephony system, acting as an escalation resource for level 2/3 issues
• Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and standards
• Work with teams and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended
• Stay current with tools and technologies that Teams are using
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated field of study or equivalent experience
• 5 years of IT/IS experience
• 1 years working with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
• Experience with contact center solutions
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Working knowledge of network and security concepts and technologies
• Familiar with version control (TFS, Git, CVS, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
