Our client, Modular Automotive Systems (MAS) manufactures, picks, packs and kits automotive parts for Chrysler!Shift - Monday - Friday 6am-230pm [OT as needed]Pay - $20.00 hourlyPaid weekly Long-term positionBenefits available (health, dental, vision and life) PTO available Job Description: Plans and directs activities concerned with development,application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes,materials and products. Job Responsibilities:· Verifies incoming products through inspection· Performs quality checks for the hold area;notifies planner or buyer of all defects found upon receiving · Performs internal corrective action and problemsolving when appropriate · Tracks internal and external errors · Oversees and organizes team of auditors · Monitors the workloads and inspectors’ hours ineach work area · Communicates daily with the quality manager ofthe materials department · Ensures continuous improvement in the qualitydepartment · Ensures employees are following the correctprocess and procedures · Trains employees and handles all problems on thefloor · Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements:· High school diploma or equivalent · 5 years minimum of quality experience · 7 years minimum of supervisory experience · Ability to work with a diverse group of people · Good communication skills · Ability to meet strict deadlines · Ability to bend, lift, stoop, walk and stand forlong periods of time · Ability to lift 50lbs· Ability to read, interpret, and understand workorder and packaging specifications written in English · Attention to detail· Proficient computer skills required (e.g. Word,Excel, Outlook) · Ability to read a blueprint, preferred· Ability to demonstrate understanding ofStatistical Process Control, preferred· Employees in all warehouse positions must beable to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms,and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, orapproach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes,conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside thewarehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations duringwarehouse operations
