Company Description:

Crossroads was founded on May 5, 2005 to serve a patient population battling with opioid addiction. Since its founding in 2005, we have been a physician led healthcare organization. The company has grown rapidly and now includes 110 treatment centers in 10 states. Each member of the Crossroads team specializes in an area that supports the recovery of over 27,000 patients, monthly. Crossroads' clinical staff includes physicians, pharmacists, counselors, nurses, and other service coordinators. Along with medication management, our staff works closely with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan aimed at building recovery and relapse prevention skills.

Ideally candidate will live in PA/NJ and must be willing to travel extensively throughout region of responsibility (PA,NJ,TN,CO) and to corporate office in Greenville, SC.

Position Summary: The Vice President of Operations provides compliance monitoring, training support, leadership, and guidance to Regional Managers and Program Directors as well as clinic personnel for assigned regions in order to ensure the overall well-being and safety of patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.

  • Provide compliance monitoring for the regions through various means such as reviewing compliance and regional manager audits followed by implementing corrective action plans based on deficits.
  • Supervise all business affairs for multiple locations ensuring the centers meet business and compliance guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Managers to establish and maintain effective communication between regulatory agencies and the facilities as well as communication with corporate compliance.
  • Partner with Regional Managers to demonstrate and model the Crossroads INSPIRE culture through team, clinic, patient, and community relations.
  • Responsible for appropriate cost-effective staffing models for both OBOT and OTP centers while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Team up with recruiting to clearly articulate all staffing needs, including high priority requisitions.
  • Full P&L responsibility for their territory and the business units captured within, including labs.
  • Team up and Collaborate with HRBP to assist, coach, and manage staff.
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to Regional Managers to ensure centers run efficiently, effectively and provide high quality treatment at each center.
  • Approval of expenses within regions.
  • Provide Training support in assigned regions including revenue and labor cost improvement, performance management and other regional support as needed.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with local, state and federal authorities as necessary.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of non-compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and/or the Compliance Program policies and procedures, and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Accurately budgeting for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs.
  • Oversee company labs and work with Lab Director to ensure compliance and cost control.
  • Ownership and corrective plans for centers with an NPS below the company average.
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape and attending industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead.
  • Tackling unforeseen issues and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of and familiarity with payors and the healthcare landscape.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with sales, marketing, and finance to drive the growth of the business.
  • Identifying, training, and developing leaders within the company and setting them on a path for management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements: This position requires extensive travel, turning in monthly travel plans to the Chief Operations Officer and attending all Corporate Operations Team Meetings.

Position requires constant mental alertness, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy required in completing all assignments. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and follow -through on all assignments.

  • Operate as a field based, hands on Vice President rather than a leader that works in a closed office

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or something within the Healthcare Industry. Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred. At least ten years' experience in a leadership or management role. Substance use disorders and mental health experience preferred.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
