DESCRIPTION

Crossroads Treatment Centers was founded to serve a patient population with opioid addiction. Since its founding in 2005, the company has grown rapidly and now includes over 100 treatment centers in 10 states. Each member of the Crossroads team specializes in an area that supports the recovery of over 26,000 patients. Crossroads' clinical staff includes physicians, pharmacists, counselors, nurses, and other service coordinators. Along with medication management, our staff works closely with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan aimed at building recovery and relapse prevention skills.

For 3 to 6 hours a week at a competitive hourly rate on 1099.

We are seeking a strong part-time Physician at our center located in Martinsville, VA. This doctor is responsible for the efficient and effective medical service provided to patients according to the policies and procedures. Conducts patient's medical history and physical examinations. Medical monitoring of patients in all phases of treatment as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned:

• Assure patient's medical history and physical examination are completed
• Assure patients are referred to proper agencies when treatment is beyond our scope
• Provide admission, transfer, and discharge orders
• Attend and participate in clinical staffing
• Facilitate leadership with regards to new findings in the field of addictions treatment

Qualification Requirements:

• Degree from accredited college/university
• Currently licensed by the State
• Experience in substance abuse treatment ideal
