Position Summary: The Chief Information Security Officer is the senior most executive responsible for developing and executing Crossroad's information security program to protect the company from both internal and external threats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To set the company's information security strategy.
• To develop, implement and maintain all information security policies.
• To ensure the organization's information security program is consistently enforced throughout the company.
• To manage the company's IT security budget.
• To monitor security threats and vulnerabilities to determine the risks they pose to the business, and what countermeasures must be put in place to address them.
• To develop, implement, and enforce vendor management with regards to initial security reviews, approvals, and annual audits
• To determine what type of training employees require to meet various security requirements and implement that training program.
• To oversee the development of new products and services. Ensuring that the design takes security into account from the beginning.
• To develop a formal contingency plan that details how the business will continue operating if a disaster occurs.
• To keep abreast of new threat trends and implement controls rapidly.

• Leadership acumen to recruit, develop, and build a high functioning security team
• Technical expertise that is unrivaled in information security and related technologies.
• Strong business acumen to be able to partner with business units on the security program implementation
• Top tier communication skills that can be applied across all levels of the organization

Education and/or Experience:

• 10 Years of experience in Cyber Security and related fields
• Masters Degree or above

Work Environment: This role is fully remote, with travel as necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities.
