Main responsibilities of a Manager in Charge.
This position requires flexibility to work opening and closing shifts, weekends, and some Holidays.
• Running the total store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
• Following and enforcing all company policies and programs.
• Having good communication with Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and all associates.
• Completing regular store walks, beginning with the outside and continuing through all grocery and perishable departments
inside. Departments must be fully stocked and ready for sales.
• Ensuring the total store is organized and clean, inside and outside
• Leading by example and encouraging all associates to follow our Superior Guest Service Initiatives.
• Ensuring the total store is merchandised to company standards.
• Reporting any and all associate or guest problems or concerns.
• Training and developing Associates for future company needs, and holding all associates accountable for doing their jobs.
• Performing and accurately completing ordering functions.
• Maintaining pricing accuracy.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Being available to guests and associates.
• Following up on jobs you delegate- It’s not only what you expect, but also what you inspect.
• Utilizing your staff to have the store up to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager’s

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
May need to be able to push 50 lbs.
May need to be able to pull 50 lbs.
Must be able to bend, squat, climb and lift objects overhead
Must be able to tolerate temperature differentials
Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends
Must be able to perform basic match calculations
Must possess good oral communication skills
