Overview

The Production Assistant will support video / photo production and ongoing marketing efforts by providing creative, organizational, administrative and hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update the production calendar
• Keep, organize and manage project folders and video files
• Book, manage, and direct video/photo talent
• Assist with dozens of projects at any given time including, but not limited to, video and photo
• Manage post-production schedule to ensure videos are being completed on time
• Collaborate with the digital and creative teams to create and curate content
• Take proper care of and maintain video and photo equipment
• Under the direction of the Director of Digital, assist with the management of production activities
• Suggest improvements on production elements within each project
• Assist in post-production as needed
• Work closely with videographer to select the best camera angles and subject matter for scripts
• Coordinate and provide scheduling for location shoots
• Incorporate and suggest graphic elements to videographer
• Provide recommendations for updates, trends and enhancements for video and audio production and equipment
• Work on location as general photo and video production support
• Coordinate travel, gear and equipment as needed
• Script, storyboard, and allocate resources for videos and photos as needed
• All other tasks as assigned by the Director of Digital

Qualifications

• Editing skills in Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro and/or graphic design skills are preferred
• Knowledge of multimedia video production gear, function and assembly and software programs
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently on multiple projects, meeting strict deadlines
• Proficient Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac systems
• Proficient knowledge of the entire video production process
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Project management experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented

Education and Experience:

• 2 – 3 years of experience working as a Production Assistant, Marketing Manager, or in a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Video Production, Communications, or a related field

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to be able to:

Working Environment: Office Environment.
