Resident Assistant - Brookside Memory Care Residence Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (Resident Assistants) to become a part of the Brookside Memory Care Residence team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care. As a Resident Assistant working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.
Our current needs include:
- Full-time Day Shift; working 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Part-time Evening Shift; working 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation required.
- PRN; picking up shifts as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Our Brookside Memory Care Residence is a specialized personal care environment for individuals with a diagnosis of neurocognitive disorder or dementia, designed to provide an optimal environment during the intermediate stages of their disease. CKV team members work together to provide Brookside residents with guidance, cueing, the right level of stimulation and interaction with others who understand the progression of their condition.
Job Description:
As a Resident Assistant, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting Residents with activities of daily living and general housekeeping. Personal Care services include, but are not limited to, assistance with hygiene, bathing, dressing, incontinence management, applying/removing medical devices, and care of clothing.
- Documenting observations and interventions in Residents’ medical records.
- Administering Resident medications and completing required documentation. Successful completion of state mandated training program required.
- Working in collaboration with Community Life to create a homelike environment and encourage Resident involvement.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
- Post-certification experience is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
