Operations (WSG) - Operations Manager

BASIC PURPOSE:  Under the supervision of the Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for the management and development of team members while maintaining effective lines of communication to problem solve and create solutions.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:     Successfully manage a team Determine effectiveness of current initiatives  Set goals, develop a plan to reach those goals and reduce errors Implement, ensure adherence, and suggest edits to daily plans, job descriptions and manuals for team members Meet with team members on an ongoing basis to review goals and improve current processes Responsible for managing, mentoring, and providing direction  Develop strong working relationships  Complete evaluations and mentoring plans  Ensure workflow is consistent and employees are reaching their goals Coordinate continuous training to ensure productivity of staff Act as the backup for employees when necessary Other relevant duties as assigned  Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. QUALIFICATIONS: Intermediate knowledge of MS office products, Excel, Google documents and Mac 3 years of experience in an office setting 2 years of management or supervisory level experience Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required.
