Our Finance department seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 4 to 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a related field to support corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, budgeting and farm development functions. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in financial modeling and who can take charge of multiple projects in collaboration with colleagues to quickly deliver results. Our ideal candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously, will manage junior analysts, will translate business data into digestible information for financial planning and decision-making purposes, and will communicate all findings effectively to relevant managers.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain excel financial models for corporate financial planning, project development and ad hoc financial analysis; typical models include financial statement forecasting, budgeting, cash flow analysis, production scheduling, unit economics, KPIs and other analyses; assist junior analysts in the same
  • Synthesize results in a timely manner for explanation to project teams
  • Conduct reviews of legal and operating documents to ensure model assumptions are valid in coordination with internal and external parties
  • Conduct field research and analysis to understand key drivers, financial trends and risks/opportunities
  • Prepare for and lead meetings, understanding the “story” behind the numbers and communicating it effectively to your audience
  • Identify business trends utilizing multiple sources of data
  • Compile analysis & compliance reports for the management team and third parties
  • Gather necessary company data and compile into reports for regional and departmental management use
  • Design, review, and analyze reports as requested
  • Leverage quantitative skills to work on special projects such as building data analytics capabilities, utilizing lean management principles to optimize processes, and developing next-generation analytical tools
  • Lead manage and participate in special projects with cross-departmental colleagues
  • Collaborate with company advisors, bankers and attorneys on corporate finance and other projects

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline including finance, economics or related fields
  • 4 years of work experience in investment banking, credit research, private equity, quantitative finance, management consulting
  • A good common-sense of how business works
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize workload on a continuous basis
  • Self-starter mentality, highly motivated and excellent follow through
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Mastery of Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
