Responsibilities

Seeking a mission-focused Senior Software Engineer to support and contribute to our government customers’ success in San Diego, California!

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

• Contribute to agile software design, development, test, deployment, and documentation of features and fixes in ongoing software releases with one major release a year
• Work closely with program subject matter experts to learn the code base and identify portions for which to take ownership
• Collaborate well across our multi-discipline team of engineers
• Communicate regularly with our NH team
• Travel: Up to 10%, likely much less.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies

• An active security clearance: TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph
• Five (5) or more years of software development related technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline
• Have or able to achieve Security certification upon hire
• Proficiency in React and/or Java
• Proficiency with source code control tools such as git or Bitbucket
• Experience developing on Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong communication, collaboration, & interpersonal skills and a willingness to ask questions
• Ability to work on-site

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

• Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, containers, or Kubernetes would be nice to have!

Security Clearance Requirement

• TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph

Certification Requirement

• Have or able to achieve Security certification upon hire

Schedule Weekly Hours

• Full-time onsite
• May involve up to 10% travel to make occasional trips to NH.

Pay Range:

• $86,000 - $146,000 - This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
