Responsibilities

Criterion Systems is seeking a mission-focused Senior Scrum Master to support and contribute to our government customers’ success in Denver, Colorado!

The Scrum Master is responsible for leading the software development team through facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, and being a champion of a culture of continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master for on of the Analysis Geospatial Information System (AGIS) Agile development teams, you will be working closely with developers, government product owners, business analysts, and the user engagement team to ensure that the developed software is meeting stakeholder needs. You will be utilizing the latest technologies in GIS, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist product owner and development team in meeting mission by helping prioritize work, removing impediments from progress, and coaching the team on Agile processes.
  • Help resolve issues/conflict that arise during development.
  • Work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for Release Train.
  • May contribute in various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based upon specific technical expertise.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (CI polygraph preferred)
  • Five (5) years of Software Development experience (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) with a Bachelors’ degree.
  • Three (3) years of team leadership & project management experience.
  • Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum.
  • Understand all stages of the SDLC.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work with and lead a team.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience planning and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in Government agencies.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies 
  • Scrum Master or other Agile certification 
  • Technical background in Software Development, AI/ML 
  • Information Assurance certification (like Security ) 
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions 
  • Domain experience in Imagery Analysis or Computer Vision 
  • Domain experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
  • Domain experience in GEOINT or MULTI-INT Analysis.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Certification Requirement:

  • None 

Pay Range:

  • The proposed salary range for this position is $153,000-199,000 depending on experience.
