Responsibilities

We are seeking a mission-focused  Scrum Master to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Denver, Colorado!

***ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED***

This position is on a program that is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The team builds and maintains an exceptionally robust platform enabling users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. They work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

As a Scrum Master for a User Interface development team, you will be working closely with developers, our business analyst, and our government product owners to build enterprise software that meets mission needs. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing and DevSecOps.

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies within a Solution Train as a scrum master of a team within five Agile Release Trains
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist product owner and development team in meeting mission by helping prioritize work, and removing impediments 
  • Coach the team on Agile processes
  • Help resolve issues/conflict that arise during development
  • Work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Agile Release Train
  • May contribute to various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based upon specific technical expertise 

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance, preferably with CI polygraph
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
  • Possess Scrum Master or other Agile expertise
  • Possess a technical background in Software Development 
  • Experience delivering Enterprise Software
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • Information Assurance certification (e.g., CompTIA Security )
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
  • Experience with User Interface development
  • Certified Scrum Master certificate (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certificate (CSPO)

Security Clearance Level

  • TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph or ability to obtain a CI polygraph

Work Schedule

  • Full-time on-site at a designated facility.

Pay Rate

  • The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000 - $195,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
